I arrived at the airport at 5.30am Saturday morning. I didn't fly that far (only 4 1/2 hours) but I was wrecked.
Home at 7am and straight into bed. I slept until 11 which was good. I then forced myself to stay awake for the next few hours. This turned out to be easier than I thought.
A + C made dinner for me Saturday night and I unloaded on them. I apologise to them for out talking anyone I know!
Finally I was home again and couldn't get to sleep! Can you believe this! 2 am I finally got there! Yay!
Sunday I went household shopping. I had nothing in the house. I mean NOTHING. I spent a mini fortune on good food and then decided to go and get my cat.
She stayed at the cat hotel down the road...so I got her and she talked all the way home. When I dropped her off it took me about 25 minutes there and also return. Sunday was a really hot day so EVERYONE was at the beach so it took 45 minutes to get home. It was a great drive home - Precious said something, I responded, she said something further. I have a feeling that I was being told off.
When we got home she followed me everywhere mewing and letting me know how terrible I am as an owner for leaving her somewhere. This went on for a good 4 1/2 hours.
Then she started purring. 6 hours!
Finally I got to sleep at 2 am this morning!
Now she is following me everywhere demanding serious lap time.
Oh the joys of pet ownership.

Sometimes I think if we could understand everything the pets say to us, we wouldn't have so many pets! Or perhaps we would have more? Welcome back home!
I completely empathize with the pet thing. One of mine is sitting here on my lap trying to prevent me from my morning online routine. She likes to sit with me after she's been playing in her water bowl. Not sure what the connection is.
Glad you got back just fine!
