finalising the thoughts for the week

I found out why the bloke takes his dog paragliding. According to the news reports the man is battling cancer and his dog goes everywhere with him. That solved that issue.

If only all other issues were solved so easily. Essentially I think they are but then someone has to ask that question "Why?" and we think we have to answer the question. We shouldn't be encouraging this sort of behaviour from young uns. I also think "Why" should be taken out of the lexicon, this has served many a political regime well.

I will try today not to ask the question nor will I try to answer it.

I thank people for their contribution to Mush Brain Fridays. I have come to the conclusion that I am not the only one who suffers from it - most don't seem to admit it though. A shame really. I think if we went to work and didn't do our job completely we could just state that we are suffering from mush brain Friday. In fact I think there should be a psychological study into it and then it should be recognised for what it is - a legitimate condition and not a figment of my imagination. Then I could claim expenses from health care organisations. Maybe I'm thinking about this too much.

Last night I had people over for dinner. Well actually I cooked dinner and took it to their house to enjoy. (I can hear you wanting to ask the question that has been banned for today!) This is due to the fact that they have a little tyke who needs to go to bed earlyish and then female friend is allergic to my cat. Easiest solution (as they live round the corner from me) I cook, take over there and then they do the dishes in their house.

Anyway we had roast chicken which was huge! I mean this bird was the size of a small turkey. Probably was and it thought that it might get away with living if it went incognito. (question is burning again!) Unfortunately that didn't happen and we all enjoyed a very tender chook.

Preemptive text is a hassle though. I sent a message to female friend asking them if they wanted to share a roast chicken and she rang me laughing hysterically as I had asked them if they wanted to share a "smart" chook. Well it wasn't smart chook as it would still be alive doing the chook thing.

I know what you mean, but it is a good thing i dont wear a watch! As a result of the size of the chook I now have chicken sandwiches for the whole week. Cheers Mr Goatie....
