I was going to have an early night last night (ie about 9pm) but was distracted first by a crap show on tv (not worth mentioning) and then by "The Birth of Soul" which focused on Ray CHarles.
It was fantastic. I saw footage of Ray and then also of a very young looking (and very healthy) James Brown!
Next week they will focus on Aretha, Ben E King and a few others. I can hardly wait.
I think that this is the frist tv show that I have been truly interested in watching.

Sounds good... one of the rare worthwhile things on television... I think I gave up watching TV a while ago.
